Instructions

  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in the crushed tomatoes and add the dried oregano and basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer the marinara sauce for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • While the marinara sauce is simmering, spiralize the zucchinis into noodles using a spiralizer.
  • In a separate large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the zucchini noodles and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the noodles are just tender.
  • Divide the zucchini noodles among serving plates and top with the marinara sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
