Ingredients
- 4 zebra steaks, 1 inch thick
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the zebra steaks.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Place the zebra steaks in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer to desired doneness.
- Add the butter to the skillet and baste the steaks with the melted butter for extra flavor.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
