Yorkshire pudding is a traditional English dish with a rich history dating back to the 18th century. It originated in Yorkshire, England, and was originally served as a starter to fill up diners before the main course. The dish consists of a batter made from eggs, flour, and milk or water, which is baked in the oven until it puffs up and turns golden brown. The best Yorkshire puddings are light, airy, and crispy on the outside. Chefs like Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay have popularized this dish, and it is a staple in many British pubs and restaurants. For the best Yorkshire pudding experience, visit a traditional English pub in Yorkshire or try making it at home with a good quality beef drippings for that authentic flavor.
