Ingredients
- 4 venison steaks (6 oz each)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the venison steaks on both sides with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-high heat until melted and sizzling.
- Add the seasoned venison steaks to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer to desired doneness.
- Remove the venison steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate while preparing the garlic butter topping.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Pour the garlic butter topping over the venison steaks and serve immediately.
