Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 box Velveeta Hamburger Helper
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced bell pepper
- 1 cup diced zucchini
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown 1 pound of ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
- Add 1 cup of diced onion, 1 cup of diced bell pepper, and 1 cup of diced zucchini to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook for 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in 1 box of Velveeta Hamburger Helper, 2 cups of water, and 1 cup of diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened, stir in 1 cup of milk and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the skillet, cover, and let it sit for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
