Vegetable Lo Mein

Ingredients
- 8 oz of lo mein noodles
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup of julienned carrots
- 1 cup of sliced bell peppers
- 1 cup of snow peas
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp of sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp of sugar
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large wok or skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper.
- Push the vegetables to the side of the wok and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the empty space.
- Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the wok and pour the sauce over the noodles. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
