Instructions

  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and add 2 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom, 1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves, and 1/8 teaspoon of ground nutmeg.
  • Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled vanilla chai tea over the ice.
