Instructions

  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of softened butter with a few drops of pink food coloring until well combined. Repeat with purple and blue food coloring in separate bowls.
  • Spread the colored butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • In another bowl, mix the mozzarella and cheddar cheese together.
  • Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  • Divide the cheese mixture evenly between the two slices of bread in the skillet.
  • Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing up.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the skillet and allow to cool for a minute before slicing and serving.
