Ingredients
- 2 turkey sausage patties
- 3 egg whites
- 1 whole wheat tortilla
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a non-stick skillet, cook the turkey sausage patties over medium heat for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, spray with cooking spray and add the diced onions and tomatoes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Pour in the egg whites and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are fully cooked.
- Place the whole wheat tortilla on a flat surface. Place the cooked turkey sausage patties in the center of the tortilla, followed by the cooked egg whites, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
- If desired, heat the wrap in the skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side to melt the cheese and crisp up the tortilla.
- Slice the wrap in half and serve immediately. Enjoy!
