Instructions

  • In a non-stick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the turkey sausage patties to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • While the sausage is cooking, toast the whole wheat bread slices.
  • Once the sausage is cooked, remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, pour in the egg whites and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until set.
  • Season the egg whites with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing a slice of cheddar cheese on each piece of toasted bread, followed by 2 turkey sausage patties and the cooked egg whites.
  • Top with the remaining slices of toasted bread to form the sandwiches.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
