Ingredients
- 4 slices of whole wheat bread
- 4 slices of deli turkey
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard on the other side of each slice of bread.
- Place 2 slices of Swiss cheese on 2 slices of bread, mayonnaise side up.
- Top the cheese with 2 slices of turkey on each sandwich.
- Cover the turkey with the remaining 2 slices of Swiss cheese.
- Place the remaining 2 slices of bread on top, mayonnaise side down.
- Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the top of each sandwich.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet, buttered side down.
- Spread the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the top of each sandwich.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
