Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of turkey
- 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons of pesto
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Spread 1 tablespoon of pesto on each of 2 slices of bread.
- Layer 2 slices of turkey and 2 slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the pesto on each slice of bread.
- Top each sandwich with the remaining 2 slices of bread to form 2 sandwiches.
- Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on one side of each sandwich.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches, buttered side down, in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Spread the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the top of each sandwich, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
