Ingredients
- 4 slices of whole grain bread
- 4 slices of roasted turkey breast
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Place the slices of whole grain bread on a clean surface.
- Layer 2 slices of roasted turkey breast on each of 2 bread slices.
- Top the turkey with the sliced avocado, dividing it evenly between the 2 sandwiches.
- Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on top of the avocado on each sandwich.
- Top with the remaining 2 slices of bread to form 2 sandwiches.
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet when flipping the sandwiches to cook the second side.
