Ingredients
- 2 cans (5 oz) of tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cans of drained tuna, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, 1 beaten egg, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Form the tuna mixture into 4 patties.
- In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Cook the tuna patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill, and 1 teaspoon lemon zest to make the lemon dill aioli sauce.
- Serve the tuna patties with the lemon dill aioli sauce on the side for dipping.
