Ingredients
- 2 cans (5 oz) of tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cans of drained tuna, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1/4 cup finely chopped celery, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
- Mix until well combined, then form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with cooking spray or oil.
- Place the tuna patties in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Toast the hamburger buns in the skillet or in a toaster oven until lightly golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a tuna patty on each bun, and topping with lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
