Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce, and 1 teaspoon of cornstarch. Set aside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the cubed tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  • Return the cooked tofu to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over the tofu and broccoli. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu and broccoli.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
