  • 2 cups of broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce, 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Set aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown on all sides. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.
  • Return the tofu to the skillet and pour the sauce over the tofu and broccoli. Stir to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
