Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 8 slices of cooked bacon
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments of your choice
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix 1.5 lbs of ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Divide the seasoned ground beef into 8 equal portions and form them into thin patties.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese and 2 slices of cooked bacon onto 4 of the patties, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Top each patty with another patty and press the edges to seal, forming 4 stuffed burgers.
- Grill the stuffed burgers for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, and your favorite condiments.
- Serve the stuffed burgers hot and enjoy!
