Instructions

  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and form into thin patties.
  • Season 4 of the patties with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Place 2 slices of bacon on each of the 4 seasoned patties, then top with avocado slices.
  • Place the remaining 4 patties on top of the bacon and avocado, and pinch the edges to seal the patties together, forming 4 stuffed burgers.
  • Place the stuffed burgers on the grill or skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each burger and allow it to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster oven.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and serve hot.
