Spicy Chipotle Juicy Lucy
Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices of American cheese
- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
- 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and form them into thin patties.
- Place 2 slices of American cheese between 2 patties, sealing the edges to form 4 stuffed patties.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, cook the stuffed patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes.
- While the patties are resting, toast the hamburger buns in the skillet until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of mayonnaise with the minced chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, and cumin to make the spicy chipotle aioli.
- Spread the spicy chipotle aioli on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
- Place a stuffed patty on each bottom bun, then top with 2 slices of bacon. Add the top bun and serve immediately.
