Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef, diced onion, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook the beef patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  • While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns in a separate skillet or on a griddle until golden brown.
  • In a small bowl, mix the ketchup and mayonnaise to create the special sauce.
  • Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of cheese on each patty and allow it to melt slightly.
  • In the same skillet, fry the eggs to your desired doneness.
  • To assemble the burgers, spread the special sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a patty with melted cheese on top, followed by a slice of bacon and a fried egg. Top with the other half of the bun.
