Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, diced onion, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the beef patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns in a separate skillet or on a griddle until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix the ketchup and mayonnaise to create the special sauce.
- Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of cheese on each patty and allow it to melt slightly.
- In the same skillet, fry the eggs to your desired doneness.
- To assemble the burgers, spread the special sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a patty with melted cheese on top, followed by a slice of bacon and a fried egg. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve the Hangover Burgers immediately and enjoy!
