Ingredients
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup of fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through.
- Add 1 sliced red bell pepper and 1 sliced yellow bell pepper to the wok and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until slightly softened.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the shrimp and vegetables in the wok. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.
- Remove the wok from the heat and stir in 1 cup of fresh basil leaves until wilted.
