Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix 1 cup of teriyaki sauce, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of pineapple juice, 1 tsp of minced garlic, and 1/2 tsp of ground ginger to make the marinade.
  • Place the pork slices in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the marinade over the pork. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grate.
  • Brush the pineapple rings with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill the pineapple rings for 2-3 minutes on each side until grill marks appear. Remove from the grill and set aside.
  • Remove the pork from the marinade and discard the used marinade.
  • Grill the pork slices for 4-5 minutes on each side, basting with the reserved marinade, until fully cooked and caramelized.
  • Serve the grilled teriyaki pork with the grilled pineapple rings, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and enjoy!
