Instructions

  • Meanwhile, place the sweet potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until the sweet potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with the butter and milk until smooth.
  • Spread the mashed sweet potatoes over the beef mixture in the baking dish, and sprinkle with the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the sweet potato topping is golden and the filling is bubbly.
