Sugar free granola has a rich history dating back to the health food movement of the 1960s. Chefs and health enthusiasts sought to create a nutritious and delicious alternative to traditional granola by eliminating sugar. This led to the development of sugar free granola, which quickly gained popularity for its health benefits and satisfying crunch. Today, this wholesome treat can be found in health food stores, cafes, and restaurants across the globe. The best versions of sugar free granola often include a mix of nuts, seeds, and natural sweeteners like honey or maple syrup. For a famous alternative method, consider using mashed bananas as a natural sweetener.
