- 2 cups of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the cream mixture until stiff peaks form.
- Place a layer of sliced strawberries in the bottom of 4 serving glasses or bowls.
- Spoon a dollop of the whipped cream on top of the strawberries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining strawberries and whipped cream, finishing with a final dollop of cream on top.
- Garnish with a whole strawberry or a sprinkle of powdered sugar, if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
