Instructions

  • Fill a large pot with 2 inches of water and bring to a boil over high heat.
  • In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning until evenly coated.
  • Once the water is boiling, place a steamer basket in the pot and arrange the lemon slices on the bottom of the basket.
  • Add the seasoned shrimp to the steamer basket, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • While the shrimp are steaming, prepare the lemon herb aioli by combining 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley, 1 tablespoon of chopped chives, 1 clove of minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Once the shrimp are cooked, remove them from the steamer basket and transfer to a serving platter.
  • Serve the steamed shrimp with the lemon herb aioli on the side for dipping.
