Instructions

  • In a large pot with a steamer basket, add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil over high heat.
  • Place the cleaned and halved Dungeness crabs in the steamer basket, cover, and steam for 15-20 minutes, or until the crab shells turn bright orange.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of white wine, 1/4 cup of melted butter, 4 cloves of minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning.
  • Once the crabs are steamed, remove them from the pot and place them on a serving platter.
  • Drizzle the wine and butter mixture over the steamed crabs.
  • Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
