Ingredients
- 4 whole Dungeness crabs (cleaned and halved)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- In a large pot with a steamer basket, add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil over high heat.
- Place the cleaned and halved Dungeness crabs in the steamer basket, cover, and steam for 15-20 minutes, or until the crab shells turn bright orange.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of white wine, 1/4 cup of melted butter, 4 cloves of minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning.
- Once the crabs are steamed, remove them from the pot and place them on a serving platter.
- Drizzle the wine and butter mixture over the steamed crabs.
- Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
