  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices of pepper jack cheese
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices of pepper jack cheese
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup sriracha sauce, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the sriracha marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • During the last few minutes of grilling, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each chicken breast and toast the hamburger buns on the grill.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by spreading 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on each bun. Place a chicken breast on the bottom bun, top with shredded lettuce and tomato slices, and cover with the top bun.
  • Serve the spicy sriracha chicken sandwiches immediately and enjoy!
