Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together 1 lb of ground beef, 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 burger patties.
  • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup of Sriracha sauce and 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to make the Sriracha aioli.
  • Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly browned.
  • Spread the Sriracha aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Place a cooked burger patty on top, then add a slice of tomato, a few slices of red onion, and a lettuce leaf. Top with the other half of the bun.
