Instructions

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Drain and transfer to a bowl of ice water to cool. Once cooled, drain and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together 1 cup of ketchup, 1/4 cup of prepared horseradish, 2 tablespoons of hot sauce, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon of celery salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your desired level of spiciness.
  • Divide the spicy cocktail sauce among 4 martini glasses.
  • In a shaker, combine the cooked shrimp and 1/4 cup of vodka. Shake well to coat the shrimp with the vodka.
