Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine 2 lbs of ground beef, 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1/4 cup of ketchup, 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, and 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce with 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper for the glaze.
  • After 45 minutes, remove the meatloaf from the oven and brush the spicy BBQ glaze over the top.
  • Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
