Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
  • In a shallow dish, mix 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared casserole dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the casserole dish from the oven and pour 2 cups of marinara sauce over the chicken breasts. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Return the casserole dish to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
