  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 4 slices of pepper jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
  • In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together 1/4 cup mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon hot sauce.
  • Spread the mayonnaise mixture onto one side of each slice of bread.
  • On the other side of the bread, layer the sliced avocado, grilled chicken, and pepper jack cheese.
  • Close the sandwiches with the remaining slices of bread.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the top of each sandwich.
  • In a panini press or skillet, grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Slice the paninis in half and serve hot. Enjoy!
