Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup of chocolate frosting
- 1 package of white candy melts
- 1/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 lollipop sticks
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Bake the chocolate cake according to the instructions on the box. Allow it to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add the chocolate frosting and mix until well combined.
- Using your hands, roll the cake mixture into 12 evenly sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
- Melt the white candy melts according to the package instructions. Dip the tip of each lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it into each cake ball. Place the cake pops in the freezer for 15 minutes to set.
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Remove the cake pops from the freezer. Dip each cake pop into the melted white candy melts, tapping off any excess. Place them back on the wax paper-lined baking sheet.
- Using a spoon, drizzle the melted semi-sweet chocolate over the cake pops in a zig-zag pattern to resemble soccer ball designs.
- Allow the chocolate drizzle to set before serving. Enjoy your soccer ball cake pops!
