Skyline Chili

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- Cooked spaghetti
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped onions
- Kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook 2 pounds of ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Add 2 cups of chopped onions and 4 cloves of minced garlic to the pot. Cook until onions are tender.
- Stir in 2 cups of beef broth, 1 can of tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons of chili powder, 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of ground allspice, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of ground red pepper, and 1 bay leaf.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
- To serve, place a portion of cooked spaghetti in a bowl, top with a ladle of chili, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onions, and kidney beans.
