Homemade Sherbet

Ingredients
- 2 cups of fresh fruit (such as strawberries, peaches, or mango)
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
Instructions
- In a blender, puree 2 cups of fresh fruit until smooth.
- Add 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice to the pureed fruit and blend until the sugar is dissolved.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of milk and 1/2 cup of heavy cream until well combined.
- Pour the fruit mixture into the milk and cream mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes.
- Once the sherbet has reached a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Scoop and serve the homemade sherbet in bowls or cones, and enjoy!
