Ingredients
- 4 quarts of water
- 1/2 cup of Old Bay seasoning
- 2 pounds of red potatoes, halved
- 2 pounds of corn on the cob, cut into thirds
- 2 pounds of large shrimp, deveined and shells on
- 2 pounds of snow crab legs
- 1 pound of Andouille sausage, sliced
- 4 ears of garlic, halved
- 2 lemons, halved
- 1 stick of butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil.
- Add 1/2 cup of Old Bay seasoning to the boiling water.
- Carefully add 2 pounds of halved red potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add 2 pounds of corn on the cob and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add 2 pounds of large shrimp, 2 pounds of snow crab legs, 1 pound of sliced Andouille sausage, 4 halved ears of garlic, and 2 halved lemons to the pot.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and the crab legs are heated through.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer the seafood, potatoes, corn, and sausage to a large serving platter or directly onto a table lined with newspaper.
- Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over the seafood boil pot.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
