Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together 1 lb ground pork sausage, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper until well combined.
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut each sheet into 6 equal squares.
  • Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture along the center of each pastry square.
  • Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg, then fold the pastry over the sausage filling and press the edges to seal.
  • Place the sausage rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down.
  • Brush the tops of the sausage rolls with beaten egg.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the sausage is cooked through.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
