Instructions

  • Chop the mushroom stems finely.
  • In a skillet, cook the sausage and chopped mushroom stems over medium heat until the sausage is browned and the mushrooms are tender. Drain any excess grease.
  • In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage and mushroom mixture with the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon the sausage and cream cheese mixture into the mushroom caps, mounding it slightly.
