Salmon Fillet with Lemon Butter Sauce
Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the salmon fillets to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
- Stir in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is slightly reduced.
- Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the lemon butter sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat the salmon through.
- Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the salmon fillets before serving.
- Serve the salmon fillets with the lemon butter sauce drizzled on top. Enjoy!
