  • 1 (12-14 pound) whole turkey
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the rotisserie grill to medium-high heat.
  • Rinse the turkey and pat dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, sage, salt, and black pepper.
  • Carefully loosen the skin from the turkey breast and rub half of the butter mixture under the skin. Rub the remaining butter mixture over the outside of the turkey.
  • Secure the turkey onto the rotisserie spit and truss with kitchen twine.
  • Place the spit onto the rotisserie grill and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Carefully remove the turkey from the rotisserie and let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
  • Carve the turkey and serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
