Garlic and Herb Rotisserie Turkey

Ingredients
- 1 (12-14 pound) whole turkey
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the rotisserie grill to medium-high heat.
- Rinse the turkey and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, sage, salt, and black pepper.
- Carefully loosen the skin from the turkey breast and rub half of the butter mixture under the skin. Rub the remaining butter mixture over the outside of the turkey.
- Secure the turkey onto the rotisserie spit and truss with kitchen twine.
- Place the spit onto the rotisserie grill and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Carefully remove the turkey from the rotisserie and let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Carve the turkey and serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
