American

Reese's Peanut Butter Pie has a rich history dating back to the 1920s when H.B. Reese first combined chocolate and peanut butter to create the iconic Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. The pie version gained popularity in the 1970s, with its creamy peanut butter filling and chocolate crust captivating dessert lovers. Today, this indulgent treat is a staple in American diners and bakeries, with variations found in regions like the South, where chefs add a touch of Southern charm to the recipe. For the best version, head to renowned dessert spots in Pennsylvania, the home state of Reese's, or try alternative methods like adding chopped Reese's cups for an extra burst of flavor.
