Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Brush the burger patties with olive oil and place on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  • During the last minute of grilling, spread 2 tablespoons of pimento cheese on each burger patty and allow it to melt.
  • Remove the burger patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a pimento cheese-covered patty on the bottom half of each bun, then topping with sliced avocado. Add the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
