Instructions

  • Season the sea bass fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sea bass fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt 4 tbsp of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, chopped parsley, and chives. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the herbs are fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and add the capers. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
  • Stir in the lemon juice and zest, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Return the sea bass fillets to the skillet, spooning the lemon caper sauce over the top.
