Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of paprika.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, carefully place the seasoned salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down.
  • Cook the salmon for 4-5 minutes without moving, until the skin is crispy and the salmon easily releases from the pan.
  • Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  • Remove the salmon from the skillet and transfer to a serving plate.
