Mexican

The Paloma cocktail, with its refreshing mix of tequila, grapefruit soda, and lime, is a beloved Mexican classic. The history of the Paloma dates back to the 1950s, when it was first crafted in the tequila-producing regions of Jalisco, Mexico. This iconic drink is often served with a salted rim, adding a delightful contrast of flavors. The best versions of this cocktail can be found in authentic Mexican cantinas and tequila bars, where skilled mixologists expertly balance the tartness of the grapefruit soda with the earthy notes of tequila. The key to a perfect Paloma lies in using high-quality tequila and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
