- 2 large potatoes, boiled and diced
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
- 1/4 cup mint-coriander chutney
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup sev (crispy chickpea noodles)
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled and diced potatoes, boiled chickpeas, chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped green chili, and chopped coriander leaves.
- Add tamarind chutney, mint-coriander chutney, chaat masala, red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt, black pepper, and salt to taste. Squeeze the lemon juice over the mixture.
- Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
- Divide the chaat into serving bowls and garnish with sev (crispy chickpea noodles) and additional coriander leaves.
