Ingredients
- 1 lb mixed seafood (shrimp, squid, and/or mussels)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2-3 Thai bird's eye chilies, finely chopped
- 2 cups fresh holy basil leaves
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup chicken or seafood broth
- Steamed jasmine rice, for serving
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and chopped chilies, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the mixed seafood to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until just cooked through.
- Add the holy basil leaves to the wok and stir-fry for another minute until wilted.
- In a small bowl, mix together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and broth. Pour this sauce over the seafood and stir-fry for another minute to combine and heat through.
- Remove the wok from the heat and serve the Pad Krapow Talay immediately with steamed jasmine rice.
