Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 Thai bird's eye chilies, chopped
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- In a wok or large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat.
- Add the sliced flank steak and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and chopped Thai chilies, and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the cooked beef to the wok. Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 1 minute.
- Add the fresh basil leaves and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the basil is wilted and aromatic.
- Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice. Enjoy!
